Dan Charron


Executive Vice President, Client Services

As Executive Vice President, Client Services, Dan Charron oversees Chase Paymentech's diverse network of customer and business partner relationships and all related account executive teams. He is also responsible for Chase Paymentech's enterprise business operations, which include Merchant Boarding, the Enterprise Contact Center and point-of-sale (POS) Helpdesk, Customer Retention, the Bank Priority Unit and the Enterprise Project Office. In addition to client management and core business operations, Charron leads strategy in regard to mergers and acquisitions. Charron previously served as Paymentech's Chief Development Officer.

Prior to joining Paymentech, Charron was Managing Partner for marchFIRST (formerly USWeb/CKS), a leading global Internet professional services firm. He also spent nine years at Total System Service, Inc. (TSYS), where he oversaw a variety of functions, including system development, project management, conversions and corporate development.

Charron retains an active leadership role in the payments industry through his involvement on multiple boards of early-stage companies, including MasterCard's Acquirers Committee. He is also Chairman of the board of directors for MerchantLink.

A certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Charron holds a bachelor's degree in civil engineering/construction management from the United States Military Academy at West Point, and a master's degree in business administration from Georgia State University in Atlanta.
