With more than two decades of payments industry experience, Mike Duffy leads Chase Paymentech Solutions as President and CEO. He assumed this role in 2005 during the integration of Chase Merchant Services and Paymentech. Duffy previously served as President and CEO of the former Paymentech, as well as Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining Paymentech, he was the Chief Financial Officer at Litle & Company, a credit card processor that later became part of Paymentech. His industry expertise also includes past leadership roles with Equifax Credit Information Services and Equifax Credit Bureau Marketing.
Recognizing the rapid growth rate and consumer demand for alternative payments, Duffy established exclusive processing agreements between Chase Paymentech and PayPal and Bill Me Later - two leading alternative payments sources - enabling merchants to add online transaction processing to their payments mix.
As he is heavily involved within various payment industry organizations, Duffy currently serves as an advisor to the IPCommerce board of directors, as well as a member of the Discover Network Acquirer Advisory Council, the MerchantLink board of directors and the Merchant Risk Council board of directors. In addition, he is a former member of the MasterCard Acquirers Committee and the board of directors for Bill Me Later.
Duffy earned a bachelor's degree in economics from the State University of New York at Albany, and a master's degree in business administration from the University of St. Thomas in Houston, Texas.
