Sam Jawad

Sam Jawad has more than 12 years of experience in the payments industry. During his most recent tenure at First Data, Sam held several senior management positions in card issuing and merchant acquiring and was appointed as CEO of First Data Loan Company, Canada in 2003. In that role, he led several strategic initiatives including the development of a business card portfolio, establishing a card processing presence in Canada and building key strategic alliances in the merchant acquiring business. Sam previously held several senior strategic and business development roles at Bank One and Citi Cards, Canada where he oversaw critical initiatives related to card issuing, acquisitions and partnerships.
